Our firm provides a full range of high-quality architectural services at reasonable prices. Thomas prides himself on the individual assistance and project specific design solutions provided to our clients by the design staff. With over 50 years of architectural experience, the TJM team has honed their communication and design skills, allowing them to efficiently identify the client’s program requirements, analyze site restrictions and identify budgetary limitations. The team combines this data into design schemes that best solve the user’s aesthetic desires and functional requirements. We partner with highly qualified teams of engineers and specialty consultants brought on board as needed, based on job requirements. With over a thousand projects completed, we do everything from sizing of beams, decks, and renovations, to the construction of custom homes, developments, multi-purpose buildings and nationally established banks and retailers. Besides construction documents, we also can provide planning, zoning and code analysis, renderings, 3D walk throughs, building performance investigation, and construction administration.

Meet the Team
Thomas Mesuk
Founder, Principal Architect
AIA, CSI, NCARB Certified, LEED AP BD+C, CDT, CCCA, CCS
Thomas has over 25 years of experience in the field of architecture and received his Bachelor of Architecture from the New Jersey Institute of Technology [NJIT]. Thomas is now licensed in 35 states, and Washington D.C. and is a LEED accredited professional. He has been a member of the AIA Newark and Suburban since 2005. Throughout his career, Tom has worked on a multitude of projects for companies such as Apple, First Republic Bank, Hoffman La Roche Pharmaceutical, and Tishman Speyer to name a few. Before starting his own firm, Thomas worked for both small and large firms where he gained a range of management skills and experience in running projects successfully. In addition, Thomas has been involved in many corporate “rollouts” for new facilities based on a corporate prototype. He has also been very involved in prototype development and maintenance. Thomas is also licensed in New Jersey as a Professional Planner.
Mario Buzzelli
Project Manager
Mario has been in the field for over 25 years and has a variety of work experiences that include design of large commercial retail stores, along with multistory mixed use facilities, religious centers, and small retail stores. Mario has worked on senior care facilities and a variety of residential new homes and renovations throughout his career. In addition to Mario’s architecture career, he also worked as a kitchen design specialist at Home Depot for 18 years. Mario welcomes the challenge each project brings and keeps an open line of communication with clients to achieve the desired end result. Mario’s key strengths include his ability to communicate design ideas, and provide a high level of service with a strong grasp of design standards.
Dan Cummings
Project Manager
Dan has participated in an extensive range of architectural services, from concept all the way through to construction administration. Dan spent 3 years on the construction side of the building industry as a carpenter for JA Carpentry. Projects ranged from residential through light commercial. This experience proved valuable as Dan crossed over to architecture, preparing construction drawings and acting as a project manager. Within his 29 years in architecture, Dan has been involved in residential, commercial, governmental, academic, and religious projects. At the government level, he worked on numerous projects with Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, spending time on special assignments, working under their chief architect. Hoping to make an environmental difference in architecture and beyond, Dan completed his Masters of Arts in Sustainability Studies program at Ramapo College.
Henrietta Gomes
Architectural Designer
Henrietta joined our firm in June of 2021 after graduating with her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech. Henrietta brings an exciting view to strengthen our firm’s design philosophy. Henrietta has been instrumental in producing our 3D visuals and renderings. Henrietta has quickly become an integral part of our firm handling a wide range of projects.
